The MC 62 DAY CHARTER is built with hulls, beam and deck realised according to the rule book following the description below:

Hulls :

 Each hull is made with sandwich foam using the infusion process in temperature and humidity conditions controlled and regulated. The gelcoat is ISO NPG white type.

 Exterior stepping areas are treated with a white anti-skid finishing paint.

 

Beams :

The structure is mainly composed by:

 Two beams insure the gap and the behaviour of the hulls and support the deck. Those beams are realised in laminated fiberglass / polyester with structural reinforcements, and fixed to the hulls by recessed fitting and lamination

 A fore transversal beam built in alloy and fixed on borders; it includes trampoline fixations, cleats…

 A longitudinal beam realised in aluminium alloy; it supports the forestay strain and includes trampoline fixations, cleats…

 

Deck :

The deck is realised with polyester sandwich / pvc foam as descripted below:

- 2 polyester longitudinal structural beams firmly attached to the deck platform

- The all is firmly attached to the main beams by laminated fibreglass and smooth seal to the hulls by laminated fibreglass.

- Draining of the water by lateral hollowing-outs and flush scuppers

- Non-skip white paint finishing

 

 

From forward to aft, the main partition bulkheads are as followed:

- Collision watertight bulkhead (plywood 19 mm)

- Fore beam watertight bulkhead (19 mm)

- Engine compartment front watertight bulkhead (plywood 19 mm)

- Aft beal “open“ bulkhead (plywood 19 mm)

 

Partitions for interior fitting are made of sandwich PVC foam bulkhead.

The toilet, located forward the aft beam, is fully watertight from the hull. The toilet, equipped

The steering system of this boat is located in a polyester helm station with the main commands and motor and electric controls. It includes:

- 1 alloy wheel – diameter 1000 mm

- 1 Vectran cable and alloy draggling steering system

For each hull:

 1 polyester composite rudder blade foamed in the section with rudder stock and high and low self-aligning bearings

 1 emergency tiller bar (stoked in the port board engine compartment)

 1 hydraulic jack for the auto-pilot fixed on the tiller lever of the port board rudder stock

The ventilation of the compartment is made with:

- 2 fresh air supplying system in the bottom of the engine compartments

- 1 ventilating fan of extraction working automatically, or constrained

 

 

The fuel storage is made with:

- 2 tanks with a 200 litres capacity each with accessories in each central compartment.

- Visual level gauges

- Fuel decantation : pre filters RACOR

- Fuel filtration: engine filters

 

 

The water supply is made with:

- 1 tank with a 200 litres capacity with drain valve and visual gauge. This tank supplies a pump system and is located in the aft peak (starboard)

- 1 pressured system, supplying the toilets washbasins and the bar sink

 

The full bilge is based on the following equipment for each hull:

- 1 electric 12V- 14m3 immersed pumps located at the central low point

- 1 electric 12V- 3m3 immersed pumps located in the peak

- 1 electric 12V- 3m3 immersed pumps located in the engine compartment

- 1 manual bilge pump HENDERSON MK V with exterior manoeuvring allowing the aspiration in any compartment

- Level detection in each watertight compartment with alarm connected to the steering position

 

The firefight is insured by:
